VENI ACADEMY – academy 2019
In 9 years of the project’s existence, we played dozens of concert and organized academies for more than 250 students from 10 countries of the world. Now we offer you the chance to apply for the Winter Academy 2019, which is going to take place from November 23rd until November 27th in Košice, Slovakia.
VENI ACADEMY is a community of young people who are up for playing music which is not usually spoken about and played in music schools and institutions. Their road to contemporary music is guided by experienced lecturers, especially by VENI ensemble players, who also facilitate further artistic growth of the students.

Program:
Martin Burlas: From My Life…, for piano, selected instruments and sound track
Peter Graham: Get out of Whatever CAGE, for any instruments and a narrator
Martin Burlas: 7th Day Record, for any instruments
Timetable:
- 11. 2019 – starting 3pm – Session 1
- 11. 2019 – Creative Morning – Session 2 – Session 3
- 11. 2019 – Creative Morning – Session 4 – visit of VENI ensemble concert in Prešov
- 11. 2019 – Creative Morning – Session 5 – Dress Rehearsal – Concert (7pm)
- 11. 2019 – End of the project
Places:
Both the Academy and the final concert take place at the Slovak State Philharmonic in Košice.

Conditions:
- The maximum number of participants is 20 students.
- The accommodation is guaranteed and covered for the maximum of 10 students.
- The application deadline is November 10th. Please, fill out the form to apply.
- In case you play an instrument which requires amplification, please, take care of the amplification yourself (electric guitar, keyboard).
