VENI ACADEMY – winter academy in Olomouc

Since our last Academy in Košice in autumn 2017, we have done a lot of work to prepare a new winter Academy for you!

The Winter Academy will take place in Olomouc in The Czech Republic during 2 festivals (Opera Schrattenbach and PAF — FESTIVAL OF FILM ANIMATION AND CONTEMPORARY ART 2018).

VENI ACADEMY will perform pieces by Karlheinz Stockhausen (Aus den Sieben Tagen), Daniel Matej (Structures, Pages and Improvisations), and some graphic scores by Milan Adamčiak.

The Winter Academy will be held from December 3 to December 6 with a concert taking place on the evening of December 6 (20:00).

We will provide you free entrance to all academy sessions.

The following costs are expected to be covered by yourself:

  1. transportation to Olomouc (train, bus or car)
  2. food and drinks (little refreshments during the sessions will be provided)
  3. accommodation in Olomouc from December 2 to December 7 (5 nights)

 

We have already booked 15 rooms in student house with these prices:

double room – 28 EUR for 2 persons / night, total 140 EUR / room, 70 EUR / person

single room – 21 EUR for 1 person / night, total 105 EUR / room & person

Deadline for application is November 7, 2018, 22:00.

We will choose 10 applicants (5 from Slovakia + 5 from other countries) for who we will provide accomodation for free during Academy!
